COFPAA jointly with KUFOS oorganized the International Fisheries Congress & Expo (IFCE 2024) which brought together researchers, policymakers and industry leaders to tackle the critical issues that face the global fisheries sector. The event charted a new course for the future of fisheries, aquaculture and allied sectors, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 14 which focuses on life below water. The congress was marked by a series of thematic sessions that addressed the pressing challenges and opportunities in fisheries and aquaculture sector.
